Description: The director provides progressive and creative leadership for the college's libraries which support the institution's commitment to academic excellence. The director is an experienced professional who has a clear understanding of emerging library trends and issues, and the vision, energy, and creativity to address them. The director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, operation and development of the libraries, including personnel, budgets, and the planning and assessment of library resources and services. The director provides direction and support for innovative teaching practices for the college's teaching faculty through the Teaching/Learning Centers.

Required: Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) from an ALA-accredited institution; at least 5 years experience in an academic library setting; a record of excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, budget management, and supervisory skills; and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
